Diane has been fusing glass for 15 years.  After teaching art for 25 years in the Illinois Public School system, she has retired to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.  She received her Bachelor of Art (B.A.) degree from Western Illinois University and a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) from Northern Illinois University.

Diane has taught all levels of students, preschool through junior college, as well as adult classes and workshops.  Classes and workshops are in the areas of glass fusing, wirework, beadwork, precious metal clay (PMC), and have been taught in bead stores, glass stores, art centers, park districts and community college settings, as well as privately in her own studio.  Diane has exhibited her work at several galleries, art council showings and art center exhibitions.
