I have been fusing glass for more than 28 years.  After teaching art for 25 years in the Illinois Public School system, I have retired, with my husband, to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.  My formal education includes a Bachelor of Art (B.A.) degree from Western Illinois University and a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) from Northern Illinois University.  I finally have the time to be a full time artist.

I have taught all levels of students; preschool through junior college, as well as adult classes and workshops.  Classes and workshops are in the areas of glass fusing, wirework, and cold connections and have been taught in bead stores, glass shops, art centers, park districts and community college settings, as well as privately in my own studio.  My work has been exhibited at several galleries, art council showings and selected exhibitions.
